World  opening arrives to Madrid, from November 19th: Sama Sama at “Pabellón Multiusos Madrid Arena”. As stated in its website, “first you think it is a show, then discover you are in an interactive park and finally realizes you have faced a trip to a magic site insider you…” In introductory videos of Sama Sama, the show appears as an innovative proposal, unique in its genre, and through rhythm, music and movement makes the spectator to enjoy. Edvard Munch

From October 6th to January 17th at Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, you can see first important exhibition dedicated to Norwegian artist Edvard Munch at Madrid since 1984 Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, in agreement with Oslo Munch Museet, presents first exhibition dedicated to the Norwegian artist at Madrid since 1984 The exhibition contents 80 works of his long career and deals with human profile representation in different scenes.

Ingrés

From November 24th to March 27th at Museo del Prado it is resumed cronologically the career of French artist Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingrés. A key example of artistic revolutions of end of XIX century and beginning of XX

Kandinsky

From October 20th to February 28th at CentroCentro Cibeles we can enjoy a Kandinsky’s exhibition, a retrospective. The exhibiton  is a retrospective, one of the most important monographic shows in Spain of this Russian artist. After almost 150 years after Wassily Kandinsky (1866-1944), abstract art pioneer, the exhibition travels through 100 master pieces of his artistic and spiritual life, coming from Centre Pompidou. Moreover, at the same centre it is available until October 25th the exhibiton “Ls Letras de Bulgaria”, that houses a collection of posters made in 2007 due to the Trienal Internacional de Carteles para Artes Escénicas.

Architecture Week

From October 1st to 11th Architecture Week takes place. Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos de Madrid (COAM), through Architecture Foundation COAM and the German Embassy , organize with Madrid Town Hall, the XII Madrid Architecture Week. Guided tours, exhibitions and conferences with jus an aim: general public may know the city from architect’s point of view.

Feriarte

In Madrid from November 21st to 29th it takes place Feria Internacional de Arte y Antigüedades (FERIARTE) at Feria de Madrid. The Feria Internacional de Arte y Antigüedades makes Madrid the meeting point of most prestigious galleries and antique shops around the world. A big commercial, social and cultural event that serves as a launching platform for the dissemination of national and universal patrimony.

Burlador de Sevilla

From October 1st to November 29th at Teatro Español, Manuela Vellés and Álex García are starring Burlador de Sevilla, a classic said to be written by Tirso de Molina, adapted and directed by Darío Facal.

Rigoletto

Moreover, at Teatro Real until October 8th we can enjoy with Roberto Devereux, a mster piece of Tudor period, that Doniezetti wrote in 1837. From November 30th to December, it is on stage “Rigoletto”, a production of London Royal Opera House Covent Garden.

Don Quijote

From October 16th to January 3rd, at Teatro de la Zarzuela, you can see Don Quijote. A premiere of Compañía Nacional de Danza, choreographed by its director, José Carlos Martínez. Also , you can see all the events scheduled in this theater.
